Antik Terms of Service

Effective Date: 15 Feb 2026
Last Updated: 15 Feb 2026

0. Introduction

Welcome to Antik. Antik is an offline-first learning app: your frameworks, knowledge nodes, and study records are stored locally on your device by default. Optional sign-in enables cloud sync across devices. These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of Antik’s website, mobile applications, AI features, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account, accessing, or continuing to use the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and all referenced policies, including the Privacy Policy.

1. Scope and Updates

1.1 Parties

These Terms constitute a contract between you (an individual user or an authorised representative of an organisation) and the Antik operating entity (“Antik”, “we”, “us”). If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation and that it accepts these Terms.

1.2 Coverage

The Terms cover all Antik products and features, including AI-generated frameworks, mind maps, flashcards, revision tools, exports, offline storage, optional cloud sync, and any future enhancements.

1.3 Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in law, product updates, or security requirements. Material changes will be communicated at least seven days in advance via in-product messages, email, or our official website. If you disagree with the revised Terms, discontinue the Service and contact parafzx@gmail.com to deactivate your account. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

2. Definitions

  • Service: All Antik software, content, documentation, and supporting infrastructure.
  • User: Any individual or organisation that registers for or accesses the Service.
  • Content: Data, knowledge nodes, text, images, audio, video, or other materials uploaded or generated within the Service.
  • AI Output: Results produced by Antik’s AI models based on user prompts or automated workflows.
  • Subscription: Any plan or entitlement (free, paid, team, or enterprise) that governs access to features and quotas.

3. Accounts and Security

3.1 Registration

You must provide accurate, current, and complete registration details. Minors must obtain consent from a parent or legal guardian. Users under 13 must have their account created and supervised by a guardian or authorised educational institution.

3.2 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for keeping login credentials secure and for all activities under your account. Do not share or transfer your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use or security incident at parafzx@gmail.com.

3.3 Multi-Factor Authentication

We may require or offer multi-factor authentication. You agree to follow the security steps we provide and to keep any authentication devices safe.

3.4 Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, applicable laws, or pose security risks. We may preserve evidence, block access to data, or notify relevant authorities if necessary.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

4.1 Plans and Benefits

Antik offers Free, Pro (monthly and yearly), Lifetime, and organisational plans. Each plan’s features, quotas, and support channels are described in the product or pricing materials.

4.2 Payment Processing

In-app purchases follow platform rules (e.g., Apple App Store). Web subscriptions may be billed via Stripe, RevenueCat, or other authorised processors. Receipts or invoices are issued by those partners.

4.3 Auto-Renewal

Paid subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal time. Manage your subscription through the respective platform to avoid future charges.

4.4 Refunds

Refund requests follow the policies of the payment provider. Contact us before submitting a refund application. We will support communication but cannot guarantee approval by third parties.

4.5 Pricing Changes

We may adjust prices and will inform affected subscribers in advance. You may accept the new price or cancel prior to the renewal date.

5. Acceptable Use

5.1 Lawful Behaviour

You must not use the Service for illegal, infringing, fraudulent, defamatory, harassing, abusive, or harmful activities. Respect the intellectual property and privacy rights of others.

5.2 Technical Restrictions

Do not reverse engineer, decompile, exploit vulnerabilities, bypass security controls, scrape data in bulk, exceed rate limits, perform unauthorised API calls, or build competing services with Antik data.

5.3 Community Standards

When posting, sharing, or collaborating, follow community guidelines and maintain respectful communication. We reserve the right to remove content or restrict access for violations.

5.4 Third-Party Links

The Service may reference third-party sites. You are solely responsible for evaluating those sites and understanding their terms and privacy practices.

6. Content and Intellectual Property

6.1 Ownership of User Content

You retain ownership of your original content. By uploading or creating content in the Service, you grant Antik a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, process, display, and reproduce the content as needed to operate the Service, improve quality, and comply with legal obligations. You may revoke this licence by deleting your content or closing your account, except where retention is required by law.

6.2 AI Output

AI-generated content is provided “as is” for reference. You are responsible for verifying accuracy and ensuring outputs do not infringe third-party rights. Use discretion before acting on AI-generated information, especially in regulated domains (medical, legal, financial, etc.).

6.3 Feedback and Suggestions

Feedback or suggestions you provide grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free licence to use them without obligation to you.

6.4 Storage and Backups

We employ commercially reasonable measures to safeguard data but do not guarantee indefinite retention. Use export tools to back up important information.

7. AI Services and Usage Limits

7.1 Model Providers

Antik employs proprietary and third-party AI models (including Pollinations API). We assess partners for compliance, reliability, and security.

7.2 Quotas and Fair Use

Subscriptions include defined quotas for AI generations, expansions, exports, or sync operations. Exceeding quotas may require plan upgrades or waiting for periodic resets. We may enforce fair-use limits to protect service stability.

7.3 Restricted Content

Do not use AI features to generate content that is unlawful, infringing, discriminatory, hateful, violent, misleading, or otherwise prohibited by law or platform policies. High-risk scenarios (e.g., clinical decisions) require our prior written consent.

7.4 Moderation and Enforcement

We may monitor AI usage for abuse, throttle access, or disable features when suspicious behaviour is detected. We may notify regulators or other authorities where required.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

We collect and process personal data according to the latest Antik Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy explains data categories, usage, sharing practices, cross-border transfers, and user rights. You agree to review and comply with that policy.

9. Third-Party Services

9.1 Integrations

The Service integrates with platforms such as Supabase (cloud sync and authentication), RevenueCat and Apple (subscription management), and Cloudflare Workers (backend API for AI and subscription checks). Their terms and privacy policies apply to data they process.

9.2 Availability and Liability

We are not responsible for downtime, errors, or breaches caused by third-party services beyond obligations required by applicable law. Your exclusive remedy for third-party failures is limited to service credits or refunds expressly provided in their agreements.

9.3 External Resources

Links to third-party resources are provided for convenience. You assume all risk associated with accessing them.

10. Security and Compliance

10.1 Safeguards

We implement technical and organisational measures such as encryption, network isolation, role-based access, logging, vulnerability assessment, and disaster recovery.

10.2 Vulnerability Disclosure

Report suspected vulnerabilities responsibly by emailing parafzx@gmail.com with the subject “Security Vulnerability Report”. We will acknowledge and address valid reports promptly.

10.3 Regulatory Compliance

We monitor obligations under PIPL, GDPR, U.S. state privacy laws, and other regulations. Enterprise customers may sign bespoke compliance addenda upon request.

11. Services for Minors and Education

We do not offer the Service directly to children under 13. Educational institutions or guardians must obtain verifiable consent and ensure ongoing supervision. Upon discovering unauthorised child data, we will delete it and notify the guardian or institution.

12. Service Changes and Termination

12.1 Feature Changes

We may modify features, interfaces, or availability. For significant changes, we will provide notice and reasonable migration or export options.

12.2 Maintenance and Downtime

Scheduled maintenance typically occurs during off-peak hours and will be announced in advance when possible. Emergency maintenance may occur without prior notice, but we will work to restore the Service quickly.

12.3 Discontinuation

If we discontinue the Service, we will notify paying subscribers at least 60 days in advance and assist with data export or migration.

13. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

13.1 Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability to the extent permitted by law.

13.2 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Antik is not liable for indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages. Our aggregate liability for direct damages will not exceed the fees you paid to Antik in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13.3 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Antik, our affiliates, and partners harmless from reasonable losses, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, misuse of the Service, or infringement of third-party rights.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

14.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

14.2 Dispute Resolution

Parties should first attempt amicable resolution. If unresolved, either party may submit the dispute to the Beijing Arbitration Commission for binding arbitration in accordance with its rules. Arbitral awards are final and enforceable.
